Eco-Campfires are 35-minute indoor programs for children ages pre-kindergarten through third grade. Award-winning singer, storyteller & environmental educator Lisa Hunter uses her voice, guitar, drum, storyboard, puppets and props to create a campfire feel in any classroom, library or children's venue. Her songs and stories are highly playful and interactive- she intends that children come away with a positive association with the natural world, while learning scientific & ecological facts along the way...
Lisa created Eco-Campfires after working as an environmental educator in Rocky Mountain and Yosemite National Parks. Upon returning to the city, she was inspired to bring the spirit of nature and wilderness to urban settings. Lisa connects children to our earth's ecosystems through songs, stories and lots of fun. She is highly interactive with her audience- there are sounds and movements to every piece, with Lisa right on the floor with your kids...children love her!
